| The unique surface design on this fabric when I found it is becoming a lightly padded vest. After spending time looking at the fabric from various directions...it starts to suggest a 'top' and 'bottom'. I have played with the shapes and cut out a vest with asymmetrical front pieces that will be highlighted by some of the snaptape I have printed. Here are the beginning shots of the the design. Next I will begin printing back into the surface with some stencils, padding the pieces and hand stitching the surface with embroidery floss. |
