| I started with this linen wrap vest and added some fun, multi-colored eyelet trim and some topstitching. I used a heavy, topstitching thread on top and a regular sewing thread in the bobbin. I used the stitching to accentuate the seams in the garment and tie it in with the trim. I stenciled the ends of the ties with black and laced the tie through the last eyelet hole to add interest to the design. I like the way the topstitching brings out the lines and seams in the garment. It was a quick project and updated a garment I am enjoying wearing. |
