Panel Skirt & Vest

This is a great pattern for your favorite piecing techniques and fabric combinations from soft batik rayons to a crisper fabric in the vest. The vest is short and has princess seams for bust /waist fitting and an asymmetrical flap that can be folded back and buttoned as a lapel. Back yoke seam is shaped. Skirt top edge is above the waist with fitted yoke and very flattering flap for diagonal line along front. Yoke can be shortened to waist length, darts left open and replaced with gathers in back, flap and other details sized and shaped for scale as well as design. Loose hanging pocket is fun detail to make and use.
