Drawing is a very intimate form of expression for me. The process of following a brush, chalk, or pencil along the edges and into the hollows of my view is the place I need to be.

See Diane's version using the Capitola Pant and Fault Lines patterns

A short, linen jacket might be just the look for you this season. It is a wonderful proportion for lots of different body types with the bias undershirt and the asymmetrical edges creating a flattering long line.

Ribbons, wrinkled fabrics, special embroidered pieces, lace and frogs...whatever your style, the Fault Lines pattern #118 is a great canvas for your creative fabric play.

The Capitola Pant pattern #115 has several design options and here I have made a wider size and used cotton embroidery thread to stitch tucks as a complimentary detail to the jacket.
