Painting & Drawing
Pencil in hand- this is the most intimate way I express myself.
Of all the materials I am drawn to explore, the making of a single mark on a sheet of paper is the most telling and emotional. I see who I am there. The fluid dance of painting is provocative in another way....especially if I am using a brush I have fashioned myself ...and maybe tied it to the end of a stick.
I have traveled this life so far with marking tool in hand....seeing a continuous thread of the familiar emerge like magic.
