I use the lengthen and shorten lines in a to change the look of the design. So this shorten version of the Peony Pattern #107 creates a different proportion and makes a knockout spring top. I have combined natural color linen and cream-color shirting with black linen accents and fabulous woven ribbon from Renaissance Ribbons. the skirt, accented with pressed and folded edges, is piped and lined in pink….so when the skirt moves…the pink peeks out.
